Grasshopper

Osservando la piena soddisfazione sul volto di mio padre che passa ore ed ore sul trattorino rasa-erba, ho capito quanto questo oggetto rappresenti il vivere il giardino in modo giocoso e spensierato.

Per questo ho cercato di rielaborarne la forma, semplificandolo in tecnologia, per esaltare il carattere ludico e divertente.

La scelta della propulsione fisica, non solo è orientata in una logica di sobrietà e sostenibilità, ma anche un invito a vivere l’outdoor in un modo più fisico e diretto.

Observing the satisfaction on my father’s face when he spends hours and hours sat on his grass-cutting tractor, I understood how much this object represents the idea of living in the garden in alight-hearted and playful way.
I therefore tried and reproduced the product, implifying its technology to underline the fun and joyful features of the object.
The choice of using physical rather than mechanical power is not only related to logic of sustainability and sobriety, but also intends to invite one to enjoy the outdoor activities in a more direct and physical way.
